Can I do my own conveyancing?

Hi, I used to dabble with Law many years ago and I was wondering if it was easy just to do the conveyancing myself? Any ideas?

The main issue is that you will inevitably need to work alongside a regulated firm and get them to approve the work, especially where there is a mortgage company involved. It can be more trouble than its worth as you could end up paying for this and doing the work yourself!!

It's not worth doing it yourself, why risk problems on an asset worth hundreds of thousands when it only costs a few hundred pounds to do it professionally??
